Hi guys, my name is Gabi. Thank you for visiting my site and looking around. I started archery at Next Step Archery at age 6. My dad and I have been going at it none stop ever since. At first archery seemed a little intimidating but one day when I was at the range with my dad, I saw all the big teen girls on team come in with their Olympic setups and I knew I wanted to try.
If you ask me why I love archery I might jokingly say it’s because I don’t have to run but in truth I just LOVE archery! The amount of dedication, discipline and focus the sport requires fits my personality and everything about archery is rewarding. No matter how successful you might be or become there is always room to improve mentally and physically. Archery for me is a way of life and I hope to be fortunate to shoot for a very long time.
I have many goals in archery. My long term goal is to earn the privilege to represent the United States of America in the Games. For now I will focus on my short and mid range goals and take them on one by one. Back in 2019 I accomplished one of my goals and made it on the United States Archery Team for the first time! I also have many short term goals that are usually some type of training or practice milestones and practice scoring goals.
As important as archery is to me I love all sorts of things. I have been dancing with Hula O Lehualani since age 5. I play the flute and saxophone and love jazz. In my free time I also like to game, draw and illustrate both digitally and on traditional forms of media, take pictures, play music on my melodica, origami, read and catch up on my favorite anime.
